Laugh

Why do you laugh,
when I cry?
Why do you laugh,
when I die?

Is it because I do not know why,
my skin is like milk chocolate
simmering under the sun

Is it because I do not know why,
I dance under the silver droplets
falling from a metallic cloud

Or is becuase I cannot explain,
the way my heart plays
when you shuffle the deck
and deal the cards

Perhaps its rather my prosaic state
that remains frozen like the winter's rain
unable to capture greenhouse effect

Why do you laugh,
when I cry?
Why do you laugh,
when I die?
