Give me a fucking break here... what is it with people that push for the historic accuracy of the bible? I mean gee wizz... there are things like archeology and shit... and just cuz they weren't the retellings of fantatical pedophilic zealots who wanted to suck on some holy child penis does not mean they are any more false than the goddamn enyclopedia britannica... I am sick of the bible being a "reference" book for any sort of knowledge other than pseudo-philosophical but religious cock sucking trash...

And a noteworthy disclaimer... to those who might find my attack on religion and the bible in particular offensive... I find religion, the concept of god, and the sleazy encapsualtion of ignorance that you undoubtedly are shrowded in as a result of the first two to be down right repugnant...

hey thanks for the comment...and i agree with your post here. i recently had a conversation with a super catholic guy i know, he studied theology and knows-it-all, so he likes to tell-it-all. he said that whoever says they can accomodate (aka tolerate) any religion is just too lazy to stand up for their own beliefs. he said he doesn't believe in "free thinkers". (emphasized with the bunny quotation marks during his little speech) the whole time i wasn't even trying to argue with him, but he kept going on about THE TRUTH. and so there you have the history of the world in a nutshell.
